PARTICIPANTS AND BENEFITS

All works of professional illustration applied to design created in 2024 and 2025 may be submitted to the PELIKANOR 2025 International Award for Applied Professional Illustration.

BENEFITS

All works that are Awarded or Selected will receive:

PELIKANOR GOLD AWARD WINNERS:

• PELIKANOR Diploma certified by Fundación Veredictas Internacional.
• Right to obtain original certified duplicates of the PELIKANOR Diploma for clients, collaborators, etc.
• Publication of the winning work with the PELIKANOR mark in the Veredictas Internacional gallery, with a link to the author's contact.
• Publication of the winning work on the social media of Veredictas Internacional, with a link to the author.
• Sending of an exclusive press release about the author's achievement to the media, individuals, or companies indicated by the author in the registration.
• Inclusion of the winning work in the organization's official press release.
• Granting of the right to use the PELIKANOR Award brand, indicating the year and recognition obtained.
• Option to participate free of charge in other awards certified by FUNDACIÓN VEREDICTAS. (Occasionally Veredictas invites works to participate in awards that are in a consolidation phase. Works that have not been previously registered in a Veredictas award are never invited.)

1. PELIKANOR Award for the best illustration applied to a logo or brand.

2. PELIKANOR Award for the best illustration applied or associated with brand identity.

ILLUSTRATION APPLIED TO ADVERTISING

3. PELIKANOR Award for the best illustration applied to a poster or outdoor advertising.

4. PELIKANOR Award for the best illustration applied to a brochure, postcard, or flyer.

5. PELIKANOR Award for the best illustration applied to a catalog.

6. PELIKANOR Award for the best illustration applied to vehicle signage.

ILLUSTRATION APPLIED TO EDITORIAL

7. PELIKANOR Award for the best illustration applied to a book.

28. PELIKANOR Award in MISCELLANEOUS for all works that the author considers may not fit into the other categories.

SUBMISSION OF REGISTRATION MATERIAL

1. To submit your works, log in to your user profile. If you are not a Veredictas user, click the orange button REGISTER WORKS and follow the steps.

2. If the work you wish to submit is already in your Veredictas gallery, you may register it without uploading it again.

3. Each submission may include up to 5 images of the work presented (1 main image + 4 additional images), in color, sized 1024 × 768 pixels at 72 dpi, horizontal orientation, in JPG format and RGB color space.

4. If at the time of registration you do not have the images of your work, the PDF, or other materials available, you may complete your registration and add or modify any information before the call for entries closes.

5. For better evaluation, it is recommended to include an explanation of up to 800 characters describing relevant aspects.

6. You may attach a PDF with additional information, images, or any details that may help in the evaluation.

7. The organization reserves the right to use and reproduce the images of the submitted works on social media, catalogs, or any medium for the promotion of the authors or the awards.

8. Participation in the PELIKANOR Award does not imply the transfer of any copyright to the organization.

9. The participant declares to be the legitimate author or to have express authorization to submit the work, and exempts the organization from any claim related to copyright.

10. The organization declines any responsibility regarding the authenticity of the data provided by participants.

11. To preserve neutrality, logos or other author identifiers may not appear in the submitted images, except in self-promotion projects. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.

12. The organization reserves the right to exclude works that are offensive, illegal, or contrary to social ethics.

REGISTRATION FEES AND DATES

1. Participants must register each work submitted and may submit as many works as they wish.
2. A single work may be submitted in more than one category; in that case, each submission is independent and subject to its own registration fee.
3. Each registration must be formalized through payment of the corresponding registration fee (an invoice will be issued).

4. The official call for the PELIKANOR 2025 Award runs from November 27, 2025 to Friday, February 28, 2026.

Registration fees:

1. 40 Euros per registered work with a 50% opening discount until December 15, 2025.
2. 80 Euros per registered work during the regular phase until February 15, 2026.
3. 95 Euros per registered work during the EXTRA DEADLINE until the closing of registrations on Friday, February 28, 2026.

5. Special 2×1 promotion: If you register 2 works, the second one is free, on any date (applicable once).
6. The final deadline for submissions is Friday, February 28, 2026.

7. Additionally, enjoy an extra 10% discount, cumulative with other discounts, by marking which organization you wish Fundación Veredictas Internacional to donate 10% of your fee to, through the “Professional  Organizations Support Program”.

8. Save money! Don't wait until the end—earlier registrations benefit from lower fees.

THE JURY

1. The jury of the PELIKANOR 2025 Award is composed exclusively of members appointed by leading professional illustration organizations. Neither Veredictas nor any collaborator of the organization is part of the jury.
2. Jury members cannot be connected to any submitted work.
3. The jury will assess illustration quality, creativity, integration and function within the applied medium, interdisciplinary relations, and any other relevant aspects.
4. The jury will select up to 10 finalists per category and will designate one single PELIKANOR GOLD winner among them.
5. The jury's decision is final and does not accept any interference or suggestions from the organization.
6. Voting will take place during March 2026, and the results will be announced in April 2026.
7. All authors of submitted works will be informed of the results.
8. The specialist jury of the PELIKANOR 2025 International Award is composed of:

THE PELIKANOR AWARD

1. Only one PELIKANOR GOLD Award will be granted per category, certified in the name of the registered entrant.
2. A certified Diploma from Fundación Veredictas Internacional will be issued to all authors whose works receive a PELIKANOR Selection or a PELIKANOR Gold Award.
3. Awarded participants will receive their certified Diploma shipped free of charge to the address in their Veredictas profile.
4. The organization will issue duplicate Diplomas upon request.
5. Any doubt or misunderstanding will be resolved at the organization's discretion.

The PELIKANOR Award is the international standard of excellence in applied professional illustration, certified by FUNDACIÓN VEREDICTAS INTERNACIONAL.
