PARTICIPANTS

The International Award World Best Packaging, recognizes and promotes excellence in design and solutions among the best packaging and packing products designed or manufactured during 2025 and 2026.

Designers, studios, agencies, and manufacturers of packaging, packing, labels, closure systems, dispensing systems, point-of-sale display (POS) companies, as well as brands that have implemented design and improvements in their product packaging worldwide may participate.

The “reversible” participation system audited by VEREDICTAS INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION ensures that participating professionals are also the ones who evaluate the works to determine the selected entries in each category. This means that each author's professional merit is expressed both through the excellence of their own works and through their analytical ability when assessing the qualities of other authors' works.

In the final voting phase, the “master” jury will determine which work is the winner in each category from among the works selected by the participants.

• Presentation of the commemorative WBP trophy for the edition.

• Opportunity to participate free of charge in other awards certified by International Veredictas Foundation. (Occasionally, Veredictas invites works to participate in awards that are in a consolidation phase. Only works previously recognized in a Veredictas-certified award are invited.)

• WBP Selection diploma certified by International Veredictas Foundation.
• Right to obtain original duplicate certified WBP Selection diplomas for clients or collaborators.

• Distribution of an exclusive press release about the author's achievement to media outlets, individuals, or companies designated by the author in their submission.

CATEGORIES

The WBP Award establishes 20 categories covering different areas of packaging design and production.

To ensure better evaluation of each work and highlight its strengths, the categories are grouped into three sections according to CONTENT, USER EXPERIENCE, and the MATERIAL used in the packaging.

To obtain a better jury evaluation, we recommend choosing the most appropriate category for your submissions.

20. WBP Award for the best packaging in the Miscellany, works that its author considers could not be included in the other categories. 

PRESENTATION OF REGISTRATION MATERIAL

1. To register your works, access your user profile. If you are not a user, click on the orange REGISTER WORKS button and follow the steps.
2. If the work you want to register is already in the gallery of your Veredictas profile, you can register it without having to upload it again. 
3. Each entry must contain 1 main image (it can be a collage of different images) in color of the work presented, in size 1,024x768 pixels at 72 dpi, in JPG format and RGB color space.
4. For a better evaluation of the works presented, it is recommended to attach an explanation of max. 800 characters describing relevant aspects.
5. It is allowed to attach a PDF with more information about the work, images and any details that serve for a better evaluation of the work.
6. The organization reserves the right to use and reproduce the images of the works presented, on social networks, catalog or in the media it considers appropriate for the promotion of the authors or the awards.
7. The participant declares that he or she is the legitimate author or has express authorization to present the work, and exonerates the organization from any copyright claim.
8. The organization declines all responsibility regarding the authenticity of the data expressed by the participants in the registration forms.
9. To preserve the principle of neutrality, the appearance of logos or other signs of the author in the photographs submitted is not permitted, except if the project is self-promotional. Failure to comply with this rule may be, at the discretion of the organization, grounds for disqualification.
10. The organization reserves the right to exclude works that are offensive, illegal or contrary to social ethics.

REGISTRATION FEES

1. Participants must submit one entry per work and may submit as many works as they wish.
2. The same work may be entered in more than one category; in this case, the corresponding entry fee must be paid for each category.
3. Each WBP entry must be formalized by payment of the corresponding entry fee (invoice issued).
4. The official call for the WBP Award 2026 runs from April 1 to June 5, 2026.
5. Entry fees:
   • €90 per submitted work with 40% early discount until APRIL 19.
   • €150 per submitted work during the regular period until MAY 20.
   • €180 per submitted work in the EXTENDED DEADLINE until FRIDAY, JUNE 5.
6. More chances to win a WBP Award with 2 submissions!
7. Special promotion: If you submit 2 works, the 2nd submission is free (valid once, any date).
8. Final submission deadline: FRIDAY, JUNE 5.
9. Enjoy an additional 10% cumulative discount by selecting which organization you want us to donate 10% of your entry fee to — “Professional Organizations Support Program” by International Veredictas Foundation.
10. SAVE! The earlier you submit your works, the lower your entry fee.

THE “REVERSIBLE” JURY

1. Participation in the WORLD BEST PACKAGING Award is twofold: on one hand, by submitting works, and on the other, by evaluating and voting on the works entered in the same category as your own.
2. The jury of the WORLD BEST PACKAGING Award is made up of the same authors of the participating works, who vote in the first phase to determine which works will be selected. Subsequently, the “master” jury will determine which work is the best in each category.
3. The master jury of the WORLD BEST PACKAGING 2026 is composed exclusively of members appointed by renowned organizations and specialized media in packaging design.
4. If, in a category, there are works from only one author or only two works from different authors, the category will be evaluated directly by the master jury of the WORLD BEST PACKAGING Award.
5. The Jury's decision is final and does not accept any interference or suggestions regarding the verdict from the organization or its collaborators.
6. The jury will evaluate the works in July and August 2026, after which the verdict will be announced.
7. The master jury of the WORLD BEST PACKAGING Award is composed of the following professionals:

   • Mr. Àlex Gobern, designated by Asociación de Diseño Gráfico y Comunicación Visual, ADG - FAD SPAIN

   • Mrs. Maica Garcia, designated by News Packaging

THE WBP AWARD

1. Only one WBP GOLD Award and up to 10 WBP SELECTIONS will be granted per category.
2. The organization will issue original duplicates of the diploma or trophy to participants who request it. (Request additional awards or diplomas)
3. Award winners will receive their trophies via courier or mail, WITH NO SHIPPING COSTS.. 
4. Any questions or misunderstandings will be resolved at the organization's discretion

The WBP Award It is a standard of excellence certified by the International Veredictas Foundation.
