Ancestral Skulls is Cervecería Genial’s craft beer line that merges contemporary design with Mexico’s cultural roots. Each beer (IPA, NEIPA, Stout, Sour, and Pale Ale) draws inspiration from a pre-Columbian civilization —Huichol, Maya, Otomí, Aztec, and Mixtec— represented through original skull illustrations by award-winning designer Diego Arévalo. Every can integrates patterns, symbols, colors, and custom typography in native languages, blending flavor, identity, and graphic art. Printed on shrink-sleeve labels, the designs balance modernity and tradition, celebrating Mexican heritage with a visual language filled with mysticism, strength, and artisanal character that connects past and present in every sip.
