Revalorizando Especies Invasoras

La introducción no regulada del Eucalyptus globulus Labill en Chile ha generado problemas en la industria forestal, provocando una proliferación descontrolada de esta especie. Esto ha llevado a la necesidad de desarrollar estrategias de manejo y control que incluyan detección temprana y la reutilización de cápsulas para mitigar su reproducción. Aunque el diseño de materiales ha crecido en interés, hay poca información sobre el desarrollo de bío-aglomerados con especies invasoras. Este estudio propone usar cápsulas de Eucalyptus globulus Labill para crear bío-aglomerados aplicables en la construcción, siguiendo una metodología que incluye identificación, experimentación, diseño y validación del material.
