PARTICIPANTS

All EPHEMERAL ARCHITECTURE works completed in 2024 or 2025 may be submitted for the EMPORIA 2025 Award by architects, decorators, designers, agencies, specialized companies, and other professionals or organizations involved in ephemeral architecture and interior design.

BENEFIT

The works that are awarded or selected will receive:

EMPORIA GOLDEN AWARD :

• EMPORIA Trophy commemorating the edition.
• Right to obtain a duplicate of the EMPORIA Trophy for the client, for collaborators, etc.
• EMPORIA Diploma certified by the Veredictas International Foundation,
• Right to obtain original duplicates of the certified EMPORIA Diploma, for the client, for collaborators, etc.
• Publication of the winning work with the EMPORIA distinction in the Veredictas Internacional gallery with a link to the author's contact information.
• Publication of the winning work on Veredictas Internacional's social media with a link to the author and the client.
• Sending an exclusive press release about the author's success to the media, people or companies that the author indicates in his/her registration.
• Inclusion of the winning work in the organization's official press release that will be sent to specialized media.
• Assignment of the right to use the EMPORIA award brand indicating the year and recognition obtained.

EMPORIA SELECTION:

• EMPORIA Diploma certified by the Veredictas International Foundation,
• Right to obtain original duplicates of the certified EMPORIA Diploma, for the client, for collaborators, etc.
• Publication of the winning work with the EMPORIA distinction in the Veredictas Internacional gallery with a link to the author's contact information.
• Publication of the winning work on Veredictas Internacional's social media with a link to the author and the client.
• Sending an exclusive press release about the author's success to the media, people or companies that the author indicates in his/her registration.
• Assignment of the right to use the EMPORIA award brand indicating the year and recognition obtained.

CATEGORIES

The EMPORIA Award establishes 21 categories that cover the different areas of ephemeral architecture and ephemeral interior design.

EVENTS SECTION

1. EMPORIA Award for the best event construction (sporting, cultural, conference, presentation, etc.)

2. EMPORIA Award for the Best Construction Based on Prefabricated Structures for an Event (stands, tents, ramps, bridges, etc.)

3. EMPORIA Award for the best decoration for a shareholders' meeting or assembly.

TRADE FAIR STANDS SECTION

4. EMPORIA Award for the best single-use design trade fair stand.

5. EMPORIA Award for the best design, dismountable and reusable exhibition stand.

6. EMPORIA Award for the best modular trade fair stand.

7.EMPORIA Award for the best eco-friendly stand (recyclable materials, sustainable production, etc.)

MUSEOGRAPHY AND EXHIBITIONS SECTION

8. EMPORIA Award for the best installation of a non-travelling ephemeral exhibition.

9. EMPORIA Award for the best installation of a transportable and travelling ephemeral exhibition.

SCENOGRAPHY SECTION

11. EMPORIA Award for the best assembly of a non-itinerant indoor scenography.

12. EMPORIA Award for the best installation of a transportable and itinerant stage set.

13. EMPORIA Award for the best installation of a non-travelling outdoor set

14. EMPORIA Award for the best installation of a transportable and itinerant outdoor set.

RETAIL SECTION 

15. EMPORIA Award for the best commercial showcase

16. EMPORIA Award for the best ephemeral commercial decoration

17.EMPORIA Award for the best temporary outdoor information, service or sales point.

18. EMPORIA Award for the best architectural element for advertising or ephemeral commercial decoration (large PLV).

OTHER CATEGORIES

19. EMPORIA Award for innovation in ephemeral architecture.

20. EMPORIA Award for the best lighting of an ephemeral space.

21. EMPORIA Prize at the Miscelánea. All works that their author considers might not be included in the other categories.

PRESENTATION OF REGISTRATION MATERIAL

1. To register your projects, access your user profile. If you are not a Veredictas user, click the orange REGISTER WORKS button and follow the steps.

2. If the work you wish to register is already in your Veredictas profile gallery, you can register it without uploading it again.

3. Each entry must include 1 main color image of the work (a collage of multiple images is allowed), size 1,024x768 pixels at 72 dpi, in JPG format and RGB color space.

4. For a better evaluation of the submitted works, it is recommended to attach an explanation of up to 800 characters describing the relevant aspects.

5. At the explicit request of the jury, to properly assess each work, it is mandatory to attach a PDF (no length limit) with additional photographs and images, plans, perspectives, and a detailed description of the work, its characteristics, materials used, client requirements, and all relevant aspects necessary to evaluate the work.

6. The organization reserves the right to use and reproduce the images of submitted works on social media, catalogs, or other media deemed appropriate to promote the authors or the awards.

7. Participants declare themselves to be the legitimate author or have express authorization to submit the work, and release the organization from any claims.

8. The organization declines any responsibility regarding the authenticity of the data provided by participants in the entry forms.

9. To preserve neutrality, logos or other author identifiers are not allowed in submitted images, except in the case of self-promotion. Failure to comply may result in disqualification at the jury's discretion.

10. The organization reserves the right to exclude works that are offensive, illegal, or contrary to social ethics.

REGISTRATION FEES

1. Participants must register each work separately and may submit as many works as they wish.
2. A single work may be entered in more than one category. In such cases, each registration is independent and requires payment of the registration fee for each category.
3. Each EMPORIA entry must be formalized by paying the corresponding registration fees (invoice provided).
4. The official EMPORIA 2025 call is from October 15 to December 15, 2025.
5. Registration fees are:

• 150 Euros per work during the launch phase (25% discount) until October 31
• 200 Euros per work during the regular phase until December 1
• 250 Euros per work during the EXTRA PHASE until the registration deadline, Monday, December 15

      6. 3x2 Promotion! More chances to win an EMPORIA  Award with 3 entries! If you register 3 works, the 3rd registration is free (applicable only once).

      7. Enjoy an additional 10% discount that can be combined with other discounts by indicating which organization you wish us to donate 10% of your registration fee to (“Professional Organizations                    Support Program” of Veredictas International Foundation).

      8. SAVE! Do not wait until the end; the earlier you register your works, the lower the fee.

      9. The registration deadline is Monday, December 15, 2025.

THE JURY

1. The EMPORIA 2024 Award Specialist Jury is made up exclusively of representatives appointed by leading schools of architecture, official associations and professional organizations of ephemeral architecture, ephemeral interior design and specialist press.
2. Neither Veredictas nor any collaborator of the organization is part of the jury.
3. The decision of the Jury is sovereign, it does not accept any interference or suggestion from the organization .
4. The Jury will evaluate, according to the category, aspects such as: Architectural design/ construction solution / Communication capacity / Quality of production and technical execution / Environmental sustainability and recycling, and those aspects that it considers valuable and relevant for each work.
5. Jury members cannot be linked to any registered work.
6. The Jury will select up to 10 finalist works and one winning work for each category. All participants will be informed of the verdict.
7. The EMPORIA 2025 Award Specialist Jury is made up of the following professionals:

1. The jury will vote on the works during the month of DECEMBER 2025. The verdict will be made public in JANUARY 2026.

EMPORIA 2025 AWARD CEREMONY

The EMPORIA 2025 award ceremony will be held on February 11, 2026, as part of EXPO SUMMIT by ASPEC (www.aspec.es), at the El Olivar Complex in Alcalá de Henares, Spain (www.elolivar.es). Access times and details will be provided in due course.

A single EMPORIA GOLD Award will be awarded and up to 10 EMPORIA SELECTIONS per category .

Prize or Selection winners who do not attend the award ceremony will have their award sent by agency at their expense unless they cancel their decision in writing to the organization.

The organization will issue duplicate Diplomas and Trophies to participants who request them. (Request additional awards or diplomas) (link)

Any doubt or misunderstanding will be resolved at the discretion of the organization.

The EMPORIA Award is a standard of excellence certified by the VEREDICTAS INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION.
